How to Setup ApeGPT

To Start the Bot write !start in the ApeGPT Start Channel

Before you can start using ApeGPT, you need to set up a wallet for the trading bot. You can do this by clicking on "Setup" --> "Change Wallet". You can now generate a new wallet or import a existing wallet using the private key.

Once you have set up your wallet, you will need to configure your settings in order to start trading. The ApeGPT backend employs robust AES encryption to securely store wallet private keys, ensuring the highest level of security.

Transaction Method

You can switch between ApeGPT Route and 1inch Routing. ApeGPT Route will find the best liquidity pool and performs swaps using that dexes router. 1Inch is using 1Inchs API to find the best route for your swap and swaps using the 1inch Dex Aggregator. We recommend using ApeGPT Routing for newly launched tokens and only use 1Inch for tokens with multiple bigger LP's. In this case the 1Inch aggregator might offer you a better exchange rate.

Recommended Settings

We would suggest to ALWAYS use Mev protection and use a high slippage when dealing with new tokens. Since Mev protection protects you from getting sandwiched and front run we would suggest to use a high slippage ( 10-30 % ) to ensure your transactions don't fail because of the high volatility.

Default ETH Amount for Buy

This setting determines the amount of ETH that ApeGPT will use for a normal buy.

Default Sell Amount in Percent

This setting determines how much of your position you would like to sell.

Default Slippage

This setting determines the default slippage that ApeGPT will use for trades.

Default Gas Multiplier

This setting determines the multiplication factor for the gas used. For example, a gas multiplier of 1.2x means that you will pay 20% more gas than the recommended transaction cost to get a faster entry.

Auto Approval

When this setting is activated, ApeGPT will automatically approve the selling of the token you bought once the buy transaction has been confirmed. When using 1Inch it will approve the selling of the token at the 1Inch router. When using ApeGPT Route it will approve the selling at the same router used for buying.

Mev Protection

If Mev Protection is enabled your swap transaction will be send to mevblocker.io's Mev Protection RPC endpoint. This will protect you from sandwich attacks and allows you to swap with high slippage without fearing loss through Mevbots.

Confirm Modal

With this setting you can enable / disable the confirm message before buying a new token. If enabled after sending the buy modal a message estimating your output amount and price impact will show up, allowing to to confirm or cancel the trade. If disabled the tx will be send without further confirmation.

ApeMode

ApeMode allows you to buy a token with a set Ape Amount from a contract scan message using the "Ape" button. If this setting is activated, you can one-click buy a token with the "ape" button. If it is not activated, you cannot one-click ape.

This setting determines the amount of ETH to buy when using the Ape one-click buy button.

Once you have configured your settings, you are ready to start using ApeGPT to buy and sell

tokens on the Ethereum and Arbitrum blockchains.
